BioCryst awarded $77 million to get peramivir to approval

The US government is giving BioCryst Pharmaceuticals an extra $77 million to fund Phase III testing of its influenza treatment peramivir.

This contract modification brings the total award from the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) for the development of peramivir to $180 million...
