Sanofi-Aventis closes Chattem acquisition

Sanofi-Aventis has completed its €1.9 billion acquisition of the OTC and branded consumer product company Chattem.

Chattem's common stock ceased trading on Nasdaq after market close on March 10th and the company has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the French pharma giant.
