Sanofi Pasteur acquires ShanH to gain Shantha

Sanofi Pasteur has acquired Mérieux Alliance's French subsidiary ShanH to gain control of the Indian vaccine firm Shantha Biotechnics, in which ShanH holds an 80% stake. The deal values Shantha at €550 million.
