AIDS vaccine trial in Thailand shows "significant achievement"

The World Health Organization (WHO), UNAIDS and the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) have greeted with optimism the modest results from a US army-sponsored Phase III trial of an HIV/AIDS vaccine in Thailand, calling it a "significant scientific achievement".
