Erbitux not recommended for EU approval in lung cancer

Merck Serono (Merck KGaA)'s Erbitux (cetuximab) has been hit with a negative opinion from the EU's
CHMP, recommending against its approval in EGFR-expressing advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), which would have been the EGFR-targeted anticancer's biggest approval to date.
