Pfizer limps through first quarter on declining Lipitor sales

Pfizer's first-quarter net income slid by 2% to $2.72 billion as generic competition and label changes ate into Lipitor (atorvastatin) and Chantix (varenicline) sales. The firm's profit dropped as revenues from its key drugs struggled against a stronger US dollar.
