Sanofi-Aventis beats second-quarter forecasts and raises guidance

Sanofi-Aventis has raised its 2009 EPS guidance growth from at least 7% at constant exchange rates (CER) to 10% after its second-quarter net sales and profits beat forecasts.

Profits increased by 5% to €1.06 billion, or EPS of €0.81, and first-half profits rose by 13%...
