EMEA expects first go-ahead for pandemic vaccine soon

European Medicines Agency (EMEA) is to meet flu vaccine manufacturers this week to discuss data submitted so far on three "mock-up" pandemic vaccines. It says the first go-ahead for a pandemic vaccine in the EU could come as early as this month, with the vaccines being made available during October.
