NICE draft say No to BMS and Novartis's leukaemia treatments

NICE, the health technology appraisal institute for England and Wales, has initially rejected both
Bristol-Myers Squibb's Sprycel (dasatinib) and
Novartis's Tasigna (nilotinib) for some NHS patients with chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML). The institute said weak data cast doubt over the drugs' effectiveness.
