Allergan's dexamethasone intravitreal implant, Ozurdex, has been approved for marketing in the US, as the first drug therapy for macular oedema following branch retinal vein occlusion or central retinal vein occlusion.
Ozurdex is expected to be introduced in the third quarter of this year....
