FDA lifts two-year hold from CytRx's experimental ALS drug

The US FDA has said that CytRx can resume testing its experimental amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS; Lou Gehrig's disease) drug arimoclomol, nearly two years after a Phase IIb trial was put on hold. The company's share price rose by 8%, to $1.08, on Nasdaq on the news.
