The US FDA is revising the labelling of Merck &Co's blockbuster diabetes drugs, the first-in-class DPP-4 inhibitor Januvia (sitagliptin) and its combination, Janumet (sitagliptin plus metformin), in light of evidence that they may carry a risk of acute pancreatitis.
