HRA's 5-day emergency contraceptive EllaOne gains EU approval

HRA Pharma's next-generation emergency contraceptive, EllaOne 30mg (ulipristal acetate), has received EU approval for use within 120 hours of unprotected sex.

The privately-held Paris-based company has also completed a second US Phase III trial with the product and expects to file an NDA...
