Lexicon Pharmaceuticals' LX4211, an experimental SGLT2 inhibitor, yielded promising results in a Phase IIa type 2 diabetes trial, show top-line results. Following the news, announced on January 20th, the company's share price rose 15%, to $2.25 on Nasdaq.
