Lundbeck's Sabril (vigabatrin) has become the first drug to be approved for the treatment of infantile spasms by the US FDA. It was also cleared as an adjunctive therapy for adults with complex partial seizures (CPS), whose seizures remain uncontrolled by currently available anti-epileptics.
