SLA Pharma now has three products in late-phase development, one of which, a highly pure omega-3 free fatty acid, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) 99%, named ALFA, may have promise in an orphan indication, the reduction of gastrointestinal polyps, says the company's chief executive Justin Slagel.
