UK becomes first market for antiplatelet prasugrel

Lilly and Daiichi Sankyo have launched their new antiplatelet agent, prasugrel (Efient), in the UK, its first market worldwide. It will be co-promoted by the two companies.

Prasugrel was approved in the EU in late February and a launch in Germany is due shortly, with further European roll-out...
