The US FDA has accepted Schering-Plough's NDA for its inhaled combination asthma product which incorporates two of its drugs which are marketed both for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), Asmanex (mometasone furoate) and Foradil (formoterol fumarate).
