The US pharmacy benefit manager Medco Health Solutions is launching its own 14,000-patient head-to-head trial comparing the effectiveness of Bristol-Myers Squibb/ Sanofi-Aventis 's antiplatelet therapy Plavix (clopidogrel) against Lilly/ Daiichi Sankyo's recently launched Effient (prasugrel).
